NEW! Gluten-Free Fish Fry!

In addition to our many gluten-free menu items, we our proud to offer our fabulous Fish Fry in a gluten-free version! We use the gill-netted Bering Sea Cod, caught in Alaska by our friends at Bering Bounty in Verona, then we hand-bread each order as it comes in. Pan fried, then oven roasted, for a lighter, less oily Fish Fry than the deep-fried versions. Available during our regular evening hours, 3:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday nights.

400,000 Cupcakes Sold!
 

On Saturday, November 1st, we sold our 400,000th cupcake! 5-1/2 years, more than 700 flavors... It's been quite a fun ride. Now we head on to half a million.

Our November Cupcake Theme at the Daisy is "Thanksgiving Pie Flavors"!
When we think of November, we think of Thanksgiving, and that makes us think of pies!
  • PUMPKIN PIE -- Pumpkin cake with Pumpkin Pastry Cream filling and Maple buttercream frsotin, topped with a gluten-free pie crust Pumpkin. GLUTEN-FREE
    FRENCH SILK PIE -- German Chocolate cake with Chocolate Pastry Cream filling and Vanilla butterbream frosting, topped with Dark Chocolate shavings.
  • LEMON MERINGUE PIE -- Lemon cake with Lemon Cream filling and toasted Meringue frosting, topped with a pie crust Leaf.
  • PECAN PIE -- Pecan cake with gooey Pecan Pie filling and Vanilla buttercream frosting spiraled with Caramel and topped with a Pecan and a pie crust Leaf. GLUTEN-FREE
  • CRANBERRY-APPLE PIE -- Cranberry-Apple cake with Cranberry-Apple filling and Cranberry buttercream frosting, topped with a dried Cranberry and a pie crust Apple.
  • MINCE PIE -- Brown SUgar cake with Mince Pie filling and Brandy buttercream frosting, topped with a pie crust Maple leaf.
We have two more Deluxe cupcakes! One returning favorite and one brand new, "Bakers Gone WIld!" flavor.
  • "CHOCOCONUT" -- Chocolate-Coconut cake with Coconut filling and Coconut buttercream frosting with a "collar" of toasted Coconut and Dark Chocolate shavings. GLUTEN-FREE
  • PEPPERED GORGONZOLA PEAR -- Olive-Oil & Black Pepper cake with Caramelized Pear filling and Gorgonzola buttercream frosting, topped with Gorgonzola crumbles.

The Daisy Cafe & Cupcakery "Four C's"
We built the Daisy with four goals clearly in mind.
Cafe   Breakfast and Lunch served from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM every day, featuring inventive comfort food always made from scratch, including great Vegetarian and Gluten-Free selections. Try one of four signature breakfast egg Stratas or one of six specialty Meat Loaves. Dinner served Tuesdays through Saturdays, featuring rotating Dinner Specials as well as 6 varieties of Meatloaf, Burgers, Soups and Salads. We also serve beer and wine, and some classic cocktails.
Cupcakery   Cupcakes baked from scratch in-house daily. Quality ingredients, natural flavors--no artificial flavors or artificial colorings or preservatives. Delicious premium cupcakes with new flavors all the time. Vegan and Gluten-Free selections daily!
Coffeehouse   Serving locally-owned, fair-trade, organic Johnson Brothers Coffee products and Madison's award-winning, fair-trade, organic Cha Cha Teas.
Community   Enjoy Porchlight Products on the menu and available for retail purchase. The Daisy is largest customer of Porchlight Products in Madison. Have a latte and a cupcake in the community lounge. Post local events and announcements on the community bulletin board. Free Wi-Fi!
